Thank you for your interest in exchanging links.
A little information : BonjourLaFrance is targeted to the promotion
of France Travel and subjects related solely to France. It is
exclusively in the English Language. BonjourLaFrance receives 3.000
visitors a day and is steadily growing. There are over 1000 pages
of information about France. Some of the main areas are Train and Air
travel schedules. BonjourLaFrance is on Google's first page for
keywords like "france train", "tgv france". It receives over 40.000
visitors a month just from Google searches. You're in good company
with this site!
I have just launched the
France Travel Directory which is being heavily promoted :
There are already 5000 hotels and restaurants referenced there with
many more establishments to come in nearly
200 categories.
You are welcome to place your link in the Directory. This is
much more than a link since you may input lengthy descriptions and
lots of other information about your establishment and/or products
The page containing your information will be referenced by Google and
other Search Engines. At the present time, inscriptions are
unlimited and free. So, if you have numerous locations for your
business, each location can have a separate inscription and even
description.
You will be added to our list of subscribers to receive occasional
updates of free promotions and other offers.
Please
go here to add your establishment(s)
I highly suggest that your link point to a page in ENGLISH
as a vast majority of visitors to BonjourLaFrance come from English
speaking countries.
Sites with French related themes may insert themselves in any
of the 200 categories. You may even suggest a category that might not
exist.
Sites with NON French related themes MUST be "Tourism" oriented
and may ONLY choose the "Tourism - Non-French" category. (see
reason below)
Any "non-quality" site (French or not), in my judgement, will
not be approved. A "non quality" site is one with NO real content. It
doesn't add to an internaut's surfing experience. It does not edify,
offer solutions and answers. "Link" sites and "gateway page" sites
that dump a paragraph of text on a page are in this field.
A link back to BonjourLaFrance is requested You'll find those
links below.
The specific links are to different sections of BonjourLaFrance :
trains, flights and Paris airport, recipes and the Directory... They
can be very helpful to your visitors and are amongst the most visited
pages.
If you'd like any further information or if you feel we can
collaborate in any other way (do you have an affiliate program?),
please let me know.

PS Having seen many "link/resource pages" allow me to
make a comment. As you know it is Google and "Page Rank" that have
placed emphasis on "link exchanging". However, as with about anything
on the Net, there are abuses. So, Google has taken steps to analyze "link
pages".
Here's the FUNDAMENTAL question Google asks : "Does the link
BACK to BonjourLaFrance (or your site) HELP and SERVE a REAL PURPOSE
for the visitors of BonjourLaFrance (or your site)? If YES, then
it helps you and me. If NO, then is hinders both you an me. Google and
the others want QUALITY not quantity.
Therefore that's what I'm looking for and that's why BonjourLaFrance
is referenced high in the Search Engines. Please allow me to make a
suggestion :
If your site is "French oriented"... keep your links French oriented.
Do NOT mix them with "any" links from other countries.
I have absolutely nothing against other countries... BUT visitors came
to your site for FRANCE... not for other countres (obviously depending
on the theme of your site). At the least, separate OUT links NOT
related to the CONTENT of your site, group them on another page. Think
quality... it's to our advantage with Google.
