Italy's state railway will provide more than 100 extra trains daily in the Turin area during next year's Winter Olympics.

The trains will run from Turin to the games' Alpine zone and also connect the city to Milan's Malpensa airport.

Special deals will be available to the 1 million fans expected, and travel will be free from Jan. 26 to March 26 for athletes, delegates, media and sponsors connected to the Olympics. Volunteers will be able to travel free on regional lines.
