PRALOUP | 1500 - 2600 m                       The Espace Lumière

Season after season, Pra Loup reaffirms its position as one of the benchmark destinations of the Alpes de Haute Provence region. This resort, founded in 1961 and located in Mercantour Regional Park, has created an outstanding ski domain, thanks to its "Light Centre" ["Espace Lumière]. It is equipped with a snow park, where visitors can ski between the larch trees. The domain is divided into two levels: the lower part, "La Molanes" (1,500 m high), offers pistes for family skiing, while the upper part (1,600 m high) is more appropriate for experienced skiers.

Green ski slope for Learners. These are usually not marked trails, but tend to be large open, gently sloping areas at the base of the ski area.  11 slopes Blue ski slope are Easy. Similar to the North American Green Circle, and are almost always groomed, or on so shallow a slope as not to need it  10 slopes Red ski slopes are Intermediate. Steeper, or narrower than a blue slope, these are usually groomed, unless the narrowness of the trail prohibits it  16 slopes Black ski slopes are Difficult. Steep, may or may not be groomed, or may be groomed for mogul. It is worth noting that 'Black' can be a very wide classification, ranging from a slope marginally more difficult than a 'Red' to an icy mogulfield  2 slopes
