Les Trois Vallées
Brides-les-Bains is an underrated resort. Wrongly so! The location of this spa resort just five minutes from Moûtiers is ideal. Since 1992, a gondola lift has connected this small town with Méribel, providing access to all of the 3 Valleys [Trois Vallées]. Also, its geographical location makes it the perfect point of departure for skiers to explore all of the resorts in La Tarentaise. Finally, in addition to offering many after-ski activities (including a Casino), Brides-les-Bains has managed to preserve its spa town holiday charm, in agreeable contrast to the customary alpine resort architecture.. Green ski slope for Learners. These are usually not marked trails, but tend to be large open, gently sloping areas at the base of the ski area.  8 slopes Blue ski slope are Easy. Similar to the North American Green Circle, and are almost always groomed, or on so shallow a slope as not to need it 36 slopes Red ski slopes are Intermediate. Steeper, or narrower than a blue slope, these are usually groomed, unless the narrowness of the trail prohibits it 22 slopes Black ski slopes are Difficult. Steep, may or may not be groomed, or may be groomed for mogul. It is worth noting that 'Black' can be a very wide classification, ranging from a slope marginally more difficult than a 'Red' to an icy mogulfield 9 slopes
